Teenager and Young Man Shot in Downtown Baltimore
Baltimore, MD – A Sunday evening shooting in downtown Baltimore left two young individuals injured, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
According to Baltimore Police, the incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. near the intersection of Light and Lombard Streets. An officer patrolling the area was approached by a concerned citizen who reported seeing an armed individual. Moments later, the officer heard multiple gunshots ring out.
Responding immediately, the officer located two victims — a 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man — both suffering from gunshot wounds. Fortunately, the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, and the victims were promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The bustling downtown area, popular among locals and tourists, was briefly disrupted as police secured the scene and launched an investigation into the shooting. At this time, authorities have not released any information about potential suspects or a motive behind the incident.
