Maryland State Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Suspect in Somerset County Homicide

PRINCESS ANNE, MD — Maryland State Police are actively seeking the public’s assistance in locating Tyren Lee Ivey, 28, of the Crisfield area, who is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday evening in Somerset County.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ivey, charging him with first-degree murder and other related offenses stemming from the shooting death of an individual identified as Neal on April 25, 2025. Authorities have labeled Ivey as armed and dangerous, urging anyone who encounters him not to approach but to contact law enforcement immediately.

The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation, with support from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and the Princess Anne Police Department. Crime scene technicians have processed the area, and investigators are diligently working to gather further information.
