The Apache Junction Police Department is in deep mourning following the tragic loss of Officer Gabriel Facio, who passed away on June 8 at 1:08 p.m., surrounded by his loving family and closest friends. This is a heartbreaking moment for our department, our city, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Officer Facio was more than a badge. He was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, friend, and a public servant with a genuine heart for people.
