It is with deep sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Steven Wilson, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who was taken from us far too soon on Friday night, April 20, 2025, at the age of 57. Steven’s death is a heartbreaking loss to his family and all who knew him.
On that fateful night, Steven was riding an electric scooter along North Airport Way in Manteca, accompanied by his brother and daughter. While his family safely remained on the sidewalk, Steven attempted to cross the street and was struck by a car. His daughter, in an unimaginable moment of horror, watched from the sidewalk as the car hit her father. Despite the efforts to rush him to the hospital, Steven sadly did not survive his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. While this action was a small comfort in such a tragic event, it does not ease the deep grief felt by Steven’s family. The loss of a father, a brother, and a loved one has left an irreplaceable void in their lives.
In this incredibly difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to Steven’s family, especially to his daughter, who witnessed this devastating accident. Our hearts are with them as they mourn the loss of a man who was deeply loved by all who knew him. May they find comfort in one another and in the cherished memories of their time together.
Steven Wilson’s legacy will live on through the love he shared with his family and friends. His spirit, kindness, and the impact he made on those around him will not be forgotten. We ask that you keep Steven’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this painful time of grief.
