With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Brian Pierson, who departed this life on April 14, 2025, at the age of 47. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Stephen’s life was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and quiet strength that touched the lives of many across Canton, Texas, and beyond.
To know Stephen was to know compassion in action. He was a man who greeted life with an open heart, who took joy in the little things, and who made everyone around him feel welcome and seen. His sense of humor, gentle spirit, and unwavering loyalty created a life rich with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Stephen was a cornerstone of his family — the kind of person others leaned on in both celebration and hardship. He had an incredible ability to offer support without condition, to listen without judgment, and to give of himself freely. He was deeply devoted to his family, and nothing brought him more pride than the love he shared with them.
Stephen is survived by a loving circle of family and friends who now carry his memory forward. Among them are his father, beloved wife, children, grandchildren, and sister — each of whom held a unique and cherished place in his heart. The love he gave them remains a guiding light and a lasting legacy.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Stephen’s memory on April 21, 2025, at Mill Creek Resort in Canton. Friends, family, and all who were touched by his presence are invited to come together in remembrance — to share stories, to laugh and cry, and to celebrate the remarkable life he lived.
