With hearts full of sorrow and gratitude, we share the passing of Sister and Pastor Francisca de Navarro, who left this world suddenly on April 17, 2025. Her departure has created a deep void in the lives of her husband, children, extended family, and the many souls she ministered to in both Charlotte, North Carolina, and her native San Marcos, Guatemala.
Pastor Francisca was more than a spiritual leader—she was a beacon of love, strength, and unwavering faith. Her voice, both in prayer and in encouragement, lifted countless people through life’s trials. She gave selflessly, ministered tirelessly, and believed in the power of God’s grace to transform even the most difficult circumstances. Her presence brought comfort. Her faith brought hope.
To her family, Francisca was the heart of the home—a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a cherished relative. She built a life centered around love, service, and unwavering commitment to God and her people. Her children carry her wisdom in their hearts, her strength in their souls, and her love in everything they do.
To the Guatemalan community in Charlotte and beyond, Pastor Francisca was a spiritual mother and a cultural bridge—someone who honored her roots and uplifted her people. Her mission was never confined by walls; it lived in every sermon, every prayer group, every visit to a home in need. She gave her time, her counsel, and her heart, especially to those who felt forgotten or far from home.
In the wake of this devastating loss, her family and church community are working to fulfill one of her final wishes—to be laid to rest in her beloved San Marcos, Guatemala. This journey home is not just a logistical one—it is a deeply spiritual return to her origins, to the land and people she held so dear.
The family is now reaching out to all who knew and loved Francisca, as well as to those moved by her story, for support in honoring her memory. Contributions toward her burial in Guatemala are an act of love, a final tribute to a woman who gave her life to others.
As we mourn this incredible loss, let us also celebrate the profound legacy she leaves behind. Sister Francisca’s life was a testimony of faith in action—of what it means to lead with humility, to love without conditions, and to serve with an open heart.
May her memory be eternal, and may her spirit continue to inspire all who were touched by her life.
Our deepest sympathies go out to her husband, children, family, and the community that grieves beside them. May you find peace in the knowledge that she lived her life with divine purpose—and that her legacy will continue to shine.
