With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we bid farewell to Nathan Handleman, whose beautiful journey through life came to a peaceful end on April 20, 2025, at just 25 years old. Though his time with us was far too short, Nathan lived a life rich in kindness, love, and compassion—a life that touched many and will never be forgotten.
Nathan was known for the warmth he carried with him wherever he went. Whether it was his quick smile, gentle words, or his unshakable loyalty to friends and family, he had a rare ability to make people feel truly seen and valued. His presence was a comfort, his laughter a joy, and his heart open to everyone who crossed his path.
A son, a brother, a friend, and so much more—Nathan was the kind of person who quietly left a profound impact. His love for life was reflected in the small, thoughtful moments he shared with those he cared for, and in the way he always made time for others, no matter what he had going on.
Those who knew Nathan will carry with them the countless memories of time spent together—moments of joy, deep conversations, shared dreams, and the unique and irreplaceable light he brought into every room he entered.
To honor his memory and celebrate the life he lived, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Southside Baptist Church in Soper, Oklahoma. Friends, family, and all whose lives Nathan touched are invited to come together, share stories, and find comfort in community as we say goodbye and celebrate a soul that brought so much light into the world.
As we release Nathan into the gentle embrace of eternity, we do so with broken hearts but also with the knowledge that his light has not been extinguished—it lives on in the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the memories we now hold so dear.
Rest peacefully, Nathan. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
