In Loving Memory of Jamarion and Camarion
Lake Pushmatacha | April 2025
A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded at Lake Pushmatacha, where two young brothers, Jamarion and Camarion, lost their lives in a drowning accident. What began as a quiet day of fishing ended in devastation that has shaken their family, school, and community to the core.
Jamarion died at the lake. Camarion, found shortly after, was rushed to a hospital but passed away on Sunday, surrounded by the hopes and prayers of those who loved him. Despite the swift response of Choctaw rescue teams, the time spent underwater proved too great a burden for the young boys to overcome.
They were students, full of promise, curiosity, and the kind of laughter that lingers long after it fades. Their absence now echoes painfully in the hearts of classmates, teachers, and a family left to grieve two beloved sons far too soon.
In mourning, we also remember the joy they brought. Let us hold space for their memory and surround their loved ones with compassion, strength, and support during this unimaginable time.
May Jamarion and Camarion rest together in eternal peace.
