In Loving Memory of Carla Eyres
April 9, 2025
With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Carla Eyres, who left us on April 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by compassion, joy, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Carla’s journey through life was filled with purpose, laughter, and kindness — a life that touched so many and continues to inspire all who knew her.
Carla was a devoted mother, sister, and friend, whose love for her family knew no bounds. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome, seen, and cared for — the heart of every gathering, the calm in every storm, and the soul of her community. Her children, siblings, and close friends will forever remember her not only for the sacrifices she made, but for the strength and light she radiated every day.
For 19 memorable years, Carla was a cherished part of the community at Tony’s Chippy, where she served with dedication, humor, and her trademark smile. More than just a colleague, Carla became a friend to countless customers, offering kind words, laughter, and warmth with every order. Her presence behind the counter was more than a routine — it was a daily reminder of goodness, familiarity, and the power of genuine human connection.
Carla’s commitment to her work and her love for the people she served made Tony’s Chippy more than just a place to eat — it became a part of her extended family. Many will recall the comforting sound of her laughter, the way she knew everyone by name, and her remarkable ability to brighten even the dullest day.
To honor Carla’s extraordinary life and the love she shared so freely, a funeral service will be held on May 1, 2025. The day will begin at her home, followed by a procession to Tony’s Chippy, where the community can pause to pay their respects in the place she poured so much of her heart into. From there, the journey will continue to Blackley Crematorium, where family, friends, and loved ones will gather to say their final goodbyes.
All who knew Carla — whether through family, friendship, or her work — are warmly invited to join the family in celebrating her life. This will be a time not only to mourn her passing but to share stories, laughter, and cherished memories of a woman who meant so much to so many.
In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Carla’s legacy of love, joy, and service lives on in every life she touched. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit remains — in the echoes of her laughter, in the warmth of remembered moments, and in the community that loved her deeply.
Rest in peace, Carla Eyres. You will always be remembered, always missed, and forever loved.
