Red Wing, Minnesota
1982 – 2025
With profound sadness and love, we announce the passing of Andrew Shane Stensrud, who left this world on April 21, 2025, at the age of 42. Taken far too soon, Andrew’s life was a gift to everyone who had the privilege of knowing them. Their light, kindness, and presence will forever be missed, and their memory will live on in the hearts of family, friends, and community.
Andrew was the kind of person who made you feel seen, heard, and valued. With an infectious smile, a generous heart, and a compassionate spirit, Andrew touched lives in quiet, meaningful ways—whether through a simple act of kindness or the unwavering support they offered in moments when it mattered most. They lived with authenticity and heart, drawing people in with their warmth and genuine nature.
A lifelong resident of Red Wing, Minnesota, Andrew was deeply rooted in the community they loved. Friends remember Andrew as someone who could always bring a laugh when it was needed most and who offered comfort without hesitation. Their presence was a steadying force, and their absence will be deeply felt.
Andrew also cherished time with family and loved ones, and those closest to them knew the depth of their love and loyalty. From shared meals to long conversations and moments of quiet connection, Andrew cultivated a life rich in relationships and meaning.
To honor Andrew’s life and legacy, visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mahn Family Funeral Home in Red Wing. A celebration of life will follow on Sunday, April 27, 2025, where family and friends will gather to share stories, memories, and the enduring impact Andrew had on so many lives.
As we come together to grieve this unexpected loss, we also come together to celebrate the beauty of the life Andrew lived. Though no longer with us in the physical sense, their spirit—the joy, love, and light they gave so freely—will continue to guide and inspire us.
Rest in peace, Andrew. You will be loved always, remembered forever, and missed beyond measure.
