Rochester, New York — A Life Remembered, A Light That Will Never Dim

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amanda Lynn Civiletti, who left this world far too soon on April 18, 2025, at the age of 37. Amanda’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, yet her memory shines brightly through the legacy of love, compassion, and joy she so generously gave during her time with us.

Amanda was more than a daughter, sister, friend, or colleague—she was a beacon of positivity, a pillar of quiet strength, and a soul that radiated warmth to everyone she encountered. Her infectious smile, boundless empathy, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends made her someone you could always count on. She loved deeply, gave selflessly, and lived fully, embracing the beauty in everyday moments and making others feel seen, heard, and cherished.

A Life of Love and Light

Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Amanda’s life was grounded in community, connection, and care. From a young age, she demonstrated an incredible sense of responsibility and heart, always going the extra mile to help others. Her thoughtful nature, blended with a wonderful sense of humor and optimism, made her a friend to many and a confidante to those lucky enough to know her on a deeper level.

Amanda’s passions were simple but profound—time with family, deep conversations, shared laughter, music that moved the soul, and quiet acts of kindness that spoke volumes. She had a way of showing up exactly when someone needed her most, never asking for anything in return.

To those closest to her, Amanda was the heart of the family—the one who remembered every birthday, who always had a word of encouragement, and who knew exactly when to bring comfort without needing to be asked. Her legacy is one of unconditional love and lasting impact.

Honoring Amanda’s Life

As we come together to celebrate Amanda’s life, the visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, allowing friends, loved ones, and members of the community to pay their respects and share the memories that continue to unite us in her spirit. This will be followed by a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 24, at 11:00 AM at the Parish of the Holy Family, where Amanda was a cherished member of the congregation.

The family welcomes all who knew Amanda to join them in honoring her life, supporting one another in grief, and finding peace in remembering the love she spread so effortlessly.

A Legacy That Lives On

Though Amanda’s physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in every act of kindness we offer, in every moment we choose love over anger, and in the laughter and tears shared by those she touched. Her life reminds us all of the importance of presence—of truly showing up for the people we care about—and of finding joy even in the small things.

Amanda’s legacy is a beautiful tapestry woven from her values, her grace, and her unshakeable devotion to the people she loved. As we move forward in her absence, let us carry her light within us and share it with the world around us—just as she always did.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Amanda’s beloved family, including her parents, siblings, extended family, and many dear friends.
