Fatal Shooting of 34-Year-Old Abraham Ross
Baton Rouge, LA — April 2025
The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in the 2600 block of Jefferson Avenue. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 12:45 p.m. and discovered 34-year-old Abraham Ross deceased on the front porch of his residence.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced Ross dead at the scene. The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office was called to assist in the investigation.
