Fatal Motorcycle Crash Outside Silverton Claims Life of Kenneth Jenck

Silverton, OR — A tragic crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck has claimed the life of Kenneth Jenck, age 51, of Gladstone, Oregon, on the afternoon of June 20, 2025. The fatal collision occurred just after 4:45 p.m. near the 8000 block of Mt. Angel Highway, just outside of Silverton.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, multiple 911 calls reported the crash, prompting a swift response from deputies and emergency medical personnel. Upon arrival, first responders found that the motorcyclist, later identified as Mr. Jenck, had suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Marion County CRASH Team immediately launched a thorough investigation, closing Mt. Angel Highway for approximately three hours to process the scene and gather evidence. The driver of the truck, a 39-year-old male from Salem, sustained minor injuries and remained at the scene. Authorities confirmed that he is cooperating fully with the investigation. At this time, no citations have been issued and no arrests have been made.
