Everett, WA Mourns the Loss of Kerry Love — A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold

The community of Everett, Washington is reeling from the heartbreaking loss of Kerry Love, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 6, 2025. His passing has left an immense void in the lives of his family, friends, and the countless individuals whose lives he touched through his presence, his kindness, and his unwavering support.

Kerry was a pillar of strength—a man whose imposing stature was matched only by the depth of his compassion. Fondly remembered as a gentle giant, Kerry was the kind of person who made you feel at home the moment you saw his warm, welcoming smile or heard his deep, familiar greeting: “What’s up, Coach?”

Since 2018, Kerry was a proud part of the PWP4Life family—a brotherhood forged on the football field but sustained by love, respect, and shared purpose. He embodied everything the phrase stood for: Pride, Will, and Purpose. His loss is deeply felt among teammates and friends, many of whom considered him a brother in every sense of the word.

“We lost one of our Purple football family members,” a loved one shared. “It’s shocking, it’s heartbreaking, and we are just beyond ourselves trying to navigate this new reality.”

But above all else, Kerry was a devoted husband to Kelly Love and a proud father. His greatest joy came from the life he built with his family—cheering from the sidelines, supporting dreams big and small, and being the steady rock they could always count on.

As Everett mourns, we are reminded of the power of community. Now is the time to surround the Love family with the same strength and comfort Kerry so freely gave to others. Whether through prayers, donations, meals, or simply being present, let’s come together to lift them up in this time of need.

Rest in peace, Kerry Love.
You were a friend, a brother, a leader—and above all, a man who loved and was deeply loved.
Your voice, your smile, and your spirit will never be forgotten. 💜🕊️
