Deadly Shooting in Antlers, Oklahoma Leaves 19-Year-Old Dead; Suspect in Custody
ANTLERS, OK — A tragic act of violence disrupted the peace of a quiet Tuesday morning in Antlers, Oklahoma, as a 19-year-old man was fatally shot in the early hours of June 10. Authorities with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) have confirmed one arrest in connection with the deadly incident.
When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they discovered the victim, identified as Kaden Neese, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
After a swift investigation, OSBI agents identified 22-year-old Andrew Ragan as the primary suspect. Ragan was taken into custody and is currently being held while the investigation continues. Formal charges are expected.
Officials have not yet released details regarding a possible motive or the events that led up to the shooting. The relationship between the suspect and the victim, if any, has not been disclosed.
