CHATSWORTH, IL – June 9, 2025 Urgent efforts are underway in Central Illinois to locate Enacence L. Knaack, a 14-year-old girl who has been reported missing and was last seen in the Chatsworth, Forrest, and Fairbury area. As of Monday, June 9, 2025, both authorities and family members are pleading with the public to help bring her home safely.
According to local law enforcement, Enacence was last seen sometime over the weekend, though the exact time and circumstances of her disappearance remain unclear. Concern for her safety continues to grow as each hour passes, prompting a coordinated response from police, emergency services, and volunteer search groups.
Enacence is described as approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall with a slender build, light brown hair, and hazel eyes. She may be wearing casual clothing and was possibly carrying a backpack at the time she was last seen. Officials have not ruled out the possibility that she may be in danger or in need of medical attention.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, along with other regional law enforcement agencies, has launched an active investigation. Officers are canvassing neighborhoods, reviewing surveillance footage, and interviewing potential witnesses. Flyers with her photo and identifying information have been widely distributed throughout surrounding towns and on social media platforms.
“This is a critical time,” said a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office. “We are doing everything in our power to find Enacence, but we need the eyes and ears of the community. If you’ve seen anything or know anything, even if it seems small, please come forward.”
