WARNER ROBINS, GA — Tragedy has struck Houston County once again, as authorities confirm the death of 18-year-old Qwamaine Lewis of Gray, Georgia, following a shooting on Wednesday evening in Warner Robins.
According to Houston County Coroner James Williams, Lewis succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Thursday, passing away at 12:55 a.m. at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. He suffered a fatal gunshot wound, and despite emergency medical care, his life could not be saved.
As part of the ongoing investigation, Lewis’ body is being transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Crime Lab for a full autopsy. The findings are expected to aid investigators as they work to determine the precise circumstances surrounding his death.
