Beloved Community Member Robin Conley Killed in Tragic Highway 6 Crash
Grimes County, Texas A heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in Grimes County on the morning of June 20, 2025, when a two-vehicle collision on Highway 6 northbound at County Road 330, near the county line, claimed the life of Robin Conley.
According to an update from Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell at 3:50 PM, Robin Conley was pronounced dead at the scene. At least one other individual involved in the crash sustained critical injuries and was airlifted for emergency medical treatment.
Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene, closing off the northbound lanes of Highway 6 as they worked to render aid, secure the area, and begin a full investigation into the cause of the collision. The road closure caused significant delays as authorities remained on-site for several hours.
