Tragedy on the Strip: YouTuber Finny Da Legend and Wife Fatally Shot by Rival Streamer Outside Bellagio Fountains

LAS VEGAS, NV – June 8, 2025 — A chilling act of violence shook the Las Vegas Strip late Sunday night, as two popular YouTubers were gunned down in a fatal confrontation just steps away from the Bellagio Fountains.

Jacob “Finny Da Legend” and his wife, known online as Bubbly, were both shot and killed outside the Paris Las Vegas Hotel shortly before 11:00 p.m. Authorities have confirmed the suspect is another YouTuber, Manny Dee, known online as SinCity-MannyWise, who is now in custody.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), officers responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of South Las Vegas Boulevard and Paris Drive. The incident, partially caught on a livestream, unfolded during a heated argument between the rival YouTubers.

In the livestream, Finny Da Legend and Bubbly are seen walking along the Strip when they’re approached by MannyWise. A brief exchange turns into a verbal dispute. Moments later, Manny is seen pulling a handgun and firing multiple shots — at least seven — striking both victims. The chaotic scene sent nearby tourists running for cover.

Bystanders called 911 as the victims collapsed. Jacob was pronounced dead at the scene. Bubbly, critically wounded, was rushed to a local hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.

The livestream abruptly ended after Bubbly screamed in shock and the phone fell to the pavement.

“This was a senseless, public act of violence that cost two lives,” said an LVMPD spokesperson. “We extend our deepest condolences to the victims’ families and the online communities who followed their work.”

The shooting occurred outside a major tourist attraction, sparking widespread panic on the Strip. Police cordoned off the area and temporarily evacuated the Bellagio as a precaution.

LVMPD confirmed Monday morning that Manny Dee was located and arrested. He remains in custody and is expected to face multiple felony charges, including two counts of murder.

The motive for the shooting is still under investigation, but law enforcement sources indicate the violence may have stemmed from an ongoing online rivalry. Both streamers had been involved in recent social media feuds, which may have escalated beyond the digital realm.

The shocking incident has drawn national attention and left the online streaming community reeling. Fans and fellow creators have taken to social media to mourn the loss of Finny and Bubbly, remembering them as energetic, bold, and authentic voices in the content creation world.

Anyone with additional footage or information is asked to contact LVMPD Homicide at (702) 828-3521 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or online at crimestoppersofnv.com.

As the investigation continues, the tragedy stands as a grim reminder of how real-world consequences can emerge from digital conflict — with devastating results.

Pilot Killed, Toddler Injured in Hinckley Plane Crash Identified by Authorities

HINCKLEY, Ill — A tragic plane crash near the Hinckley Airfield on Saturday afternoon has claimed the life of a local pilot and left a young child injured, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities confirmed that 51-year-old James Beyer, of Maple Park, Illinois, was the pilot of the small aircraft and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred around 2:33 p.m. in a farm field just west of Hinckley Airfield, located along US-30 in DeKalb County.

Also on board was a 3-year-old passenger, a relative of Beyer, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. The child was first taken to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb before being transferred to Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago for further care. Officials have not released the child’s name but have confirmed the toddler’s condition is stable.

The aircraft involved was identified as a single-engine 1946 Aeronca 7AC, a light aircraft commonly used for recreational flying. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. The wreckage remained on-site as investigators worked through Saturday evening to document and assess the scene.

At this time, authorities have not released any preliminary findings about the crash, and it remains unclear what caused the aircraft to go down so close to the airfield.

The community of Maple Park and the aviation circle around Hinckley are mourning the loss of James Beyer, described by those who knew him as a passionate and experienced pilot who enjoyed flying and spending time with family. Support has also poured in for the young child’s recovery.
