In Loving Memory of Cameron D. “Big Cam” Woodall

With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of Cameron D. “Big Cam” Woodall, a beloved former Tougaloo College men’s basketball star whose spirit, strength, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Cam was more than an athlete. He was a leader on the court and a light off of it. Towering in stature and unmatched in passion, he played with heart, resilience, and a relentless drive that inspired teammates and fans alike. But what truly set Cam apart was the man he was beyond the game—a loyal friend, a humble soul, and a source of joy to everyone around him.

To the Tougaloo College community, Cam wasn’t just a player; he was family. His legacy is not only written in the records or remembered in highlight reels, but in the way he treated people—with generosity, respect, and genuine care.

As we grieve his sudden and heartbreaking passing, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, former teammates, coaches, and all who had the privilege of sharing in his journey.

May his memory be a comfort in times of sorrow and an inspiration for generations to come.

Rest in peace, Big Cam.
