MILWAUKEE, WI – A downtown Milwaukee shooting late Saturday night left three young adults injured and prompted a swift emergency response near North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and West McKinley Avenue.

According to initial reports, officers were dispatched to the scene following multiple 911 calls about gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, first responders located three victims, all of whom were reported to be conscious and breathing at the time of transport.

A 21-year-old female sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen. A 21-year-old male was found with two gunshot wounds to the chest, while a 22-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the hand. All three were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The condition of the male with chest wounds is considered serious but stable, according to sources familiar with the investigation.

The Milwaukee Police Department has not yet released information about potential suspects or a motive for the shooting. Detectives remained on scene into the early morning hours, reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses as part of their ongoing investigation.
