A man defined by his integrity, compassion, and unwavering bravery, Lieutenant Mickolick died as he lived—serving others.

Paul’s life was a testament to the noblest ideals of public service. His career, spanning more than 16 years as a Flight Paramedic and over 4.5 years with the Town and Country Fire District, was marked by an extraordinary commitment to saving lives, supporting his team, and uplifting his community. He was not just a firefighter and paramedic—he was a protector, a mentor, a leader, and a friend.

Those who had the privilege of working alongside Paul speak of a man whose presence brought calm in chaos, whose voice carried confidence and care, and whose actions were always guided by a selfless desire to help others.
