Dallas Police Arrest Garrett Hudgens in Connection with Two Homicides
Dallas, TX — April 26, 2025 — The Dallas Police Department has arrested 30-year-old Garrett Hudgens in connection with two separate homicide cases that occurred earlier this month.
Hudgens is charged with the murder of 51-year-old Jimmie Walker, who was found shot on April 4 along North Cockrell Hill Road. Additionally, he faces charges in the death of 71-year-old Percy Howard, who was killed on April 23.
Authorities said that through investigative efforts, Hudgens was identified as a suspect in both cases. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Dallas County Jail.
Police have not released details regarding a possible motive or whether Hudgens knew either of the victims. Investigators are continuing to gather evidence, and the cases remain under active investigation.
