Man Shot on Felix Road in Red Banks, Mississippi; Investigation Ongoing

RED BANKS, MS (TVMO) —
A shooting late Thursday night in the Red Banks area of Marshall County left a 31-year-old man hospitalized, authorities confirm.

The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Felix Road, where the victim was shot in the leg. Due to the family’s request for privacy, TVMO Community News is not releasing the victim’s name at this time.

Following the shooting, the man was transported by life flight to The Med hospital in Memphis. Thankfully, according to information shared with TVMO, the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, and he is currently listed in stable condition.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. At this time, no further details have been released regarding potential suspects or the events leading up to the gunfire.
