A beloved mother, daughter, friend, and guiding light to all who had the privilege of knowing her, Lela leaves behind a legacy of compassion, warmth, and unwavering love.
Lela’s presence was a source of light and laughter—her gentle nature and joyful spirit made every room brighter. She was known for her genuine heart, the way she made people feel seen and valued, and her endless capacity to care for others. Whether offering a listening ear, words of encouragement, or simply a warm embrace, Lela embodied kindness in its purest form.
Her life was one rooted in love—love for her family, her friends, her community, and for the simple moments that brought meaning and beauty to everyday life. To honor her remarkable life, a celebration of Lela’s life will take place on April 26, 2025, at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Lela are welcome to join in remembrance and reflection.
