It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of McKinzi Nicole Raisor, a vibrant soul who left us far too soon on April 22, 2025, at just 18 years old. A beloved daughter, sibling, grandchild, cousin, and friend, McKinzi’s life—though brief—was filled with love, laughter, kindness, and a unique spark that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Born and raised in Bardstown, Kentucky, McKinzi was a light in her community. Her smile could brighten even the darkest day, and her spirit had a way of lifting those around her. Whether she was making people laugh with her quick wit, offering support to a friend in need, or simply being present with those she loved, McKinzi had a heart that radiated warmth, sincerity, and strength.
She was the kind of person who made you feel seen, heard, and valued. Her energy was magnetic, her love genuine, and her loyalty unwavering. In school, at home, and in her friendships, McKinzi brought people together. She was wise beyond her years and carried a perspective on life that inspired those around her to cherish the little things and love a little harder.
McKinzi is survived by her devoted parents, who raised her with boundless love and guided her with strength and compassion. She leaves behind siblings who adored her and who will carry her memory forward in everything they do. Her extended family, friends, classmates, and the entire Bardstown community grieve this unimaginable loss while holding tight to the joy she brought into their lives.
Though McKinzi’s time on earth was short, her impact was lasting. Her memory will forever echo in the hearts of those who laughed with her, cried with her, grew with her, and loved her.
In this time of mourning, we ask that you please keep the Raisor family in your thoughts and prayers. They are navigating a pain no words can fully heal, but in your support, love, and shared memories, they find small pieces of comfort.
McKinzi’s legacy lives on in every life she touched. She will be remembered not just for who she was, but for what she gave: love without condition, kindness without expectation, and joy without hesitation.
Fly high, McKinzi. You will forever be missed, but never, ever forgotten.
